New Scholarship: Ruth and Barry Goldsmith Scholarship

The CSOL Education Committee will be administering a new fund thanks to the generosity of Ruth and Barry Goldsmith. Last year, arts patrons throughout the community joined together to honor Ruth and Barry for their many years of leadership. A scholarship fund was created in their honor and $3,100 were collected. The Goldsmiths are giving those funds to the CSOL to be awarded over the next six years as a $500 supplemental award (in addition to the funds awarded through our usual process) to the student with the highest audition score in the summer study scholarship program who will be attending a summer camp which costs in excess of $1,000. We are so grateful to the Goldsmiths for all their contributions over the years and for this wonderful opportunity to support talented young musicians.
