Welcome to the wonderful world of Reveling!
The Revels program is the ingenious method of combining food, laughter and camaraderie with a unique activity/event while raising significant money for the Symphony. What better way to contribute throughout the season while financially supporting the arts?
Events and parties are organized at the beginning of the season by a Revels committee, and then published in a booklet that is mailed out to everyone in the League. It is always eagerly anticipated to see what is planned for the party season ahead! Each event is limited, so reservations are accepted in the order in which they are received.
Every event is generously hosted by supportive companies in the community and individual patrons in the League, which allows your full ticket price to go toward the League’s donation schedule. It may provide for a scholarship for a talented youngster to continue their lessons, or contribute to a musician’s salary, or pay for the music that the Orchestra performs so beautifully each concert. In essence, it is your support in attending Revels events that enable the music to continue to resound in the halls, auditoriums and churches throughout Charleston.
There is plenty of opportunity for anyone to participate on a committee or hosting an idea you may have. It is a great way to meet new friends, and use your skills to help the Symphony – in organization, cooking, computer skills, decorating, or networking to contact businesses and individuals.
Reservations for all Revels events may be made online or may be mailed with a RESERVATION FORM along with payment. When your online reservation is made, you will receive a 'confirmation of purchase' via email to indicate we have your reservation. You will receive no other notice until a few days before the event when you will receive a reminder, address/directions and any other specifics.

Welcome to Reveling with the CSOL®. We are excited to offer these fun-filled events for your enjoyment. Thanks to the generosity of our hosts and sponsors for these events, all proceeds from Revels go directly to the CSO and our scholarship program. We support the CSO in many ways, focusing on music education, audience development and fundraising. Our fundraising projects are well known and respected in the community. We provide scholarships each year to promising young musicians of various ages as well as to CSO musicians for advanced study.

Gather your friends and family to form a team of 4, 5, or 6 for this scavenger hunt with a difference! We’ll meet at a local brewery to get a list of potential photo subjects with varying point values. Teams will have two hours to visit nearby locations, take snapshots, and return to the brewery to tally up the points. Strategy is important—teams will decide which photos to pursue, and the team with the most points wins! Enjoy craft beer (or wine) and vote for your favorite photos at the after-party. Don’t have a team? No problem—we’ll assign you to one. This event will be lots of fun and a great way to start the summer.
